"A family school where everyone matters"
Welcome
Welcome to Ingoldisthorpe Church of England VA Primary School. It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school community. At Ingoldisthorpe, we are proud to be a small
village school where every child is known as an individual, valued and encouraged to achieve their very best. Our school is built on a strong Christian ethos and a genuine belief that every child matters.
Our school is located on the edge of the beautiful Sandringham Estate, surrounded by peaceful countryside and just a few miles from the stunning North Norfolk Coast. This wonderful setting provides a rich and inspiring environment for learning. We believe that children learn best when they are curious, engaged and excited by the world around them. For this reason, we make full use of our surroundings, including weekly outdoor learning sessions in nearby woodland where pupils develop confidence, teamwork and a love of nature.
As a small school, we are able to create a nurturing, family atmosphere where strong relationships between pupils, staff and families are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated and experienced staff work hard to ensure that all children feel safe, supported and inspired to succeed both academically and personally. We are fortunate to have a supportive Governing Body and an active Friends of the School group, and we value the strong partnerships we share with parents, the local community and the church. These relationships help to create the warm and welcoming environment that makes our school so special.
We also take great pride in celebrating the creativity and achievements of our pupils. Each year, children have the opportunity to showcase their work in the school tent at the Royal Sandringham Flower Show, an event that our whole community looks forward to.
Many of our pupils begin their journey with us in Little Owls, our nursery provision for children in the year before they start school. This nurturing environment helps children build confidence and independence as they take their first steps into school life. To support families, we offer a breakfast club from 7:30am and an after-school teatime club until 6:00pm, along with a range of clubs such as cookery, forest schools, drama and a range of sports clubs, allowing pupils to develop new interests and skills beyond the classroom.

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. I warmly invite you to visit us and experience our warm and welcoming school for yourself. We would be delighted to welcome you and show you what makes Ingoldisthorpe such a special place to learn, grow and thrive.
