At Ingoldisthorpe Primary School we value our relationships with our parents and carers. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any worries or concerns. Staff are available to speak to parents at the beginning of the day during our 8.30am - 9am drop off, as well as on the playground after school. There are also staff on the gate, during turning circle drop off to give messages to or ask any questions you may have.

We are also a proud ClassDojo school, enabling all parents to get up to date messages, photographs and details of events and learning from the teachers. Teachers will also be available for messaging on this app during school hours 8am - 5pm. Teachers will aim to message as quickly as possible, but please be aware they are teaching so reply may not be instant but should be within 48 hours. We will also be sending home any accident forms or updates on the day, on the private messaging within ClassDojo. We love to have open lines of communication between school and home.

Parents also have the opportunity to email the office, class teachers, assistant headteacher and the headteacher or call to arrange an appointment. We are more than happy to have a chat on the phone or meet in person at a mutually convenient time.

REPORTING

Each year, we hold three parents evenings, November, March and July. We issue full school reports in March, showing the progress and areas of improvements ready for the final term. We also issue graded reports in the Summer Term to show the end of year achievement and progress. Year 6 children will also receive there SATs results in this summer report, providing they have been released to the school.
