At Ingoldisthorpe C of E VA Primary School, we value the health of all of our staff and children. We have 90% of the school staff trained in first aid and over 20% paediatric first aid trained. As a school, we view the administering of medicines to be vital to ensuring consistency in attendance and education for our learners. We happily work with our parents to maintain a high level of care for our school family.

 

We are able to administer medicine to any child who needs it as long as the parent/carer has completed a consent form and the medicine is prescribed and labelled. We store medicine in a fridge or locked cabinet in the office.
